AQUACEL Ag+ Extra is an antimicrobial primary dressing

INTENDED USE: AQUACEL® Ag+ Dressings are indicated for: Leg ulcers (Venous stasis ulcers, Arterial ulcers, Leg ulcers of mixed aetiology), Diabetic foot ulcers, Pressure ulcers/injuries, Surgical wounds, Traumatic wounds, Malignant wounds, Partial thickness burns (AQUACEL® Ag+ Extra only)

CLAIMED BENEFITS: Designed to manage the 3 key local barriers to healing - exudate, infection and biofilm. AQUACEL® Ag+ dressings incorporate Hydrofiber™ Technology and Ag+ Technology - an ionic silver-containing, antibiofilm formulation. AQUACEL® Ag+ Extra™ dressing is comprised of 2 layers of Hydrofiber™ Technology stitch bonded together making it 9x stronger and 50% more absorbent than standard AQUACEL® Ag dressing

OPTIONS: AQUACEL® Ag+ dressings are available as AQUACEL® Ag+ Extra™ and AQUACEL® Ag+ Ribbon dressings.
